It’s every girl’s dream to be adorned in one of the best creations, especially for the wedding day teamed with some gorgeous make up! Ideal for showing off your figure, these dresses fit close to the body and do not flare out. Trail Lehengas were also a big hit this season. A trail adds glamour and richness to any designer lehenga, and makes it look really like a couture lehenga. The ombre mint lehenga with an embellished border and a mirrored dupatta is a delight to every Indian bride. Anarkali lehenga is one in which the choli is sewn with long anarkalis that go down to the length of the lehenga. Jacket Lehengas are a recent fashion trend, which is as elegant and quite fashionable as well. Velvet patchwork lehengas are another shot for your big day, the work woven on a net lehenga, Dori and zari enhance the look of the silk blouse, and outfit laden with crystal is a perfect wear for any lady on her wedding.

Colors also contribute to the look and feel of the Lehenga and choosing the right colour for each ritual is particularly important. Say, white or yellow go best for Haldi, vivd and vibrant colors for Sangeeth and the conventional maroon, red or green for impressing the elder ones in the family. Styles, trends and shades of the bridal lehengas have evolved in the past decade hence giving brides the chance to experiment with new fabrics and colours, however evergreen fashion being the pick of every bride in the modern era.

Head full steam into a fashionable fall this Onam

Onam season is steaming high, and so are the preparations. It is signified by ten days of festivities and carnivals in Kerala. It is believed that the King Mahabali would return during Onam to see his subjects happy and celebrating because of his profound love for the kingdom.
Apart from the beautiful scenic locations and amazing cuisines, Kerala is also famous for its traditional attires and dresses. One of the most popular piece of clothing that is found exclusively in Kerala is the traditional ‘set mundu’ or Kasavu Saree. Although, sometimes mistaken for a saree, a ‘set mundu’ is a two piece clothing that is draped around like a saree.
Onam is also the time for a Malayalee to adorn the traditional Kerala attire and celebrate the festival of harvest with pomp and splendour. The traditional Kerala Saree is every woman’s favourite. It accentuates your body parts and makes you look stunning. The modern woman is rediscovering her love for the traditional garment as her wardrobe is steadily replacing ethnic wears. And the festive season readily accelerates this change in taste as the designers choose every stitch in every saree, intending to make each one a standout piece.

The traditional dress of Kerala is the same for all women, being the Mundu and Neriathu, which is a sari, white in color embroidered with golden or Kasavu border. Men on the other hand wear Mundu, which is white in color. Mostly their upper garment resembles the color of the blouse that their wife wears. The woman could also go traditional with the typical Kerala jewellery like the poothali and the elakkathali. Bringing the hair into the 60s bun adorned with the gajra garland would be comfortable and beautiful at the same time. Even the children are attired in traditional clothes – pattu pavadas or a skirt and blouse ensemble for little girls and kurtas for little boys.

In short, the traditional jewellery and floral arrangements for hair keep it true to tradition and yet add a lot of color to your fashion quotient.Nowadays the Kerala saree have become so popular globally that their demand is increasing and woman from different parts of the world prefer to buy the traditional Kerala saree.
